Contrary to uninformed opinion, it is perfectly fine for Christians to wear the Star of David. After all, Jesus was a Jew and from the lineage of David. Sarah Palin is in no way being hypocritical, as the picture is trying in a very sophomoric way to portray her.

Joseph was and thus Joshua was not as he wasn’t actually Joseph’s son.
Oh and before you try and tell me Joshua was a a judge not the “messiah” you should go study the entomology of the name Joshua.

Jesus was Jewish (and the messiah). Jewish People see him as a Prophet.
Star of David or The Holy Cross are still appropriate for those of the Christian faith.

Both Mary and Jospeh were of Davidic lineage. Anyone can figure that out without much time invested in a Biblical commentary website. I’m not sure how that fact is relative though, since we do not know if God even used any part of Mary’s genetic material. Conceiving without a sperm cell is just as miraculous as conceiving without the mother’s genetic material. Mary could very well have been simply a surrogate mother for Jesus the Christ and Jewish Messiah.
